Looking for judges for poetry competition
Hi,
I recently launched diversions, an annual poetry competition for
poets. You can learn more about the competition at
www.poetrycompetition.ca.
I’m looking for two (or three) judges for the competition. One judge
needs to be a professional editor with poetry-editing experience; the
other needs to be a more experienced, published poet. Each judge will
review 100 poems and select the 30 best. Each judge will then
recommend the top three poems to award the top three prizes to.
Judges will need to be available during mid to late December. Each
judge will be compensated for her or his time. In addition, selected
judges will have their bio and picture posted on-line on my website.
Can you post this message to your members’ list serve? Interested
parties can e-mail me their resumes as well as their expectations for
compensation to chris.noone@sympatico.ca. I will be developing a
short list of judges over the next few weeks, and I hope to have
judges in place by mid February.
