Great Lakes Inspired Poetry

April is Poetry Month and Oshawa Public Library is partnering with Barbara Hunt of the Writers’ Circle of Durham to offer the following program:

Great Lakes Inspired Poetry

Wednesday, April 18 at 7pm

McLaughlin Branch Auditorium, 65 Bagot Street

“Pickings from a shipwreck – Gifts from the waves” were the words of Chilean poet, Pablo Neruda. Come rediscover nature and human nature in the offerings of award-winning poets. In celebration of poetry month, poet Barbara Hunt representing The Writers’ Circle of Durham Region will facilitate an evening of readings inspired by the Great Lakes and Neruda’s words. Free registration at any branch.  Parking FREE after 6pm.
