Since there are so many Chaudiere Books & other events coming up in various parts of the country, it seemed easier to send a message out than invite everyone to various events that they can’t go to due to geography;

via the Chaudiere Books Events group;

note that our John Newlove selected got reviewed in the Globe & Mail today by poet/editor Paul Vermeersch; if you’re in Ottawa on April 6th, two of our authors, Nicholas Lea and Anne Le Dressay, are helping Edmonton poet Alice Major launch her new poetry collection with University of Alberta Press;

via the above/ground press facebook group;

I’m doing a whole bunch of readings in various corners, including launching Ottawa: The Unknown City (Arsenal Pulp) in Ottawa on March 15 (you HAVE to go; its my BIRTHDAY), reading poetry in Red Deer, Alberta on March 19th, and launching Subverting the lyric: essays (ECW Press) in Ottawa at the festival on April 17, and my first post-Alberta Ottawa reading way way off on June 8th at the Dusty Owl Reading Series.

There’s even a notice for Ottawa’s Factory Reading Series on March 27, with readings by Mike Blouin (Oxford Mills ON) and Naomi Guttman (NY).

& then of course, a couple of events via the Factory (West) Reading Series facebook group

including the next edition of the monthly Factory (West) Reading Series on March 18th, with Mark McCawley (Edmonton), Dawn Brian, Jasmina Odor (Edmonton) & Douglas Barbour; I’m also launching my Subverting the lyric: essays (ECW Press with derek beaulieu (launching “chains” from Paper Kite Press) and Jordan Scott (launching “blert” from Coach House Books) on April 27th.

hopefully see you at something, perhaps?
