The Language of Poetry:

One-day Poetry Courses coming this Saturday June 14
The Language of Poetry:
By developing a heightened awareness of language-use students will write poems rich in linguistic verve. In-class assignments will be varied and consist of exercises using metaphor, rhythm, rhyme and meter to write active and imaginative poetry. We will also look at tightening language and taking leaps.
In addition to creating new pieces in class, students will look at the work of other poets and each other’s work.
This is an intensive, one-day class to help stir the imagination toward poetry.
Course runs from 10-4 on Saturday June 14 @ Cost $80
Minimum 4 students required to run
